Course creators and facilitators
Jess is the founder of the non profit organisation I*EAT. After her 10-year battle with eating disorders, Jess wanted to use her recovery to help others. She provides consultancy work as an eating disorders practitioner in the NHS and schools. Jess is qualified professional counsellor and has recently started working for the Royal College of Psychiatrists, assessing adult inpatient eating disorder wards around the UK as well as sitting on their Advisory Panel for the Care Quality Network for Eating Disorders. Jess is an associate trainer for b-eat and is a higher education lecturer in eating disorders and has spoken at two international eating disorders conferences, presenting her work with the NHS and I*EAT.
Glenn is a fully qualified counsellor and has considerable experience working with a diverse range of people and issues. He specialises in gambling addiction and having seen many similarities between this and other compulsive behaviours he has worked with, he set out to use his expertise to help those with emotional eating issues.
Glenn has a diploma in Life Coaching and enjoys using these skills to help others achieve their goals and dreams. He also works as a trainer designing and delivering training packages for various regional organisations. He has several years' experience working with vulnerable disadvantaged people in our community and supporting them towards a healthier more fulfilling life. Teaching is also a passion of his and he has taught a range of classes for over 20 years.
